School Uniform

Please clearly label all pieces of uniform including coats, shoes, wellies & hats.

Winter Uniform

● Dark jogging bottoms or grey trousers, grey skirt or grey pinafore, gold polo shirt and burgundy sweatshirt or cardigan.

Uniform does not necessarily need to include the school logo on as we realise these items can be more expensive for families.

● Sensible dark school shoes

● Warm waterproof coat and wellies (for outdoor learning)

● Hat and gloves during cold weather

We strongly recommend that children in Nursery wear jogging bottoms due to the high prevalence of physical activities in the nursery curriculum and for ease of toileting.

Summer Uniform Options

● Dark or grey shorts or yellow and white checked dress

● Light waterproof

● Sunhat and all-day sun cream (or roll on suncream that be applied by the child) during hot, sunny weather

PE Kit

● Dark joggers/leggings/shorts

● Plain white T-shirt

● Trainers/Black daps

We believe that learning to change in and out of PE kit on PE days is a skill that needs to be practised, particularly from Reception children up. Please provide your child with a drawstring kit bag for their PE kit so that kit may be kept in school. This will allow flexibility over the timing of PE/outdoor games due to timetable clashes with special events and/or inclement weather on scheduled PE/outdoor games days. A separate PE kit is not required for children in Nursery.

Jewellery / Tattoo Transfers

● One pair of small stud earrings or one single small stud earring.  Earrings must be removed or covered with tape for PE.

● One watch (not a smartwatch)

● Transfers (temporary tattoos) are not permitted. These must be removed prior to arriving at school.

● No other jewellery should be worn

Make Up

● No make-up (except for medical/religious reasons)

● No artificial nails

Where appropriate, reasonable adjustments can be made to our uniform expectations, for example due to sensory or religious needs. Should you wish to discuss adjustments, please contact the school.

Parents in receipt of certain benefits may be eligible for a grant to help to pay for essential school items such as uniform. For more information, or to apply for this grant, please click here. Please contact the school office if you have any enquiries about this.

School Uniform Logos

We have had several enquiries about where to get the school logo put onto items of uniform. While this is not compulsory, we are pleased to share the details of The Sewing Studios who will be happy to assist with this should you wish.

Each logo costs £4 (to be put onto a garment that you supply yourself).
